payroll tax supervisor AW

Payroll Supervisor oversees a team of Sr. Payroll Specialists, Payroll Specialists, Payroll Assistants and Payroll Associates to ensure timely and accurate client payroll processing. Responsibilities include performance reviews, PTO approvals, timecard approvals, coaching, second escalation, reviewing and improving procedures, inputting payroll data and changes to personnel information or tax law, handling overtime/bonus calculations, preparing wage summaries, ensuring compliance with federal, provincial and local laws, resolving payroll queries, and collaborating with other departments to process current and prior year voids. Requires strong organizational skills, ability to work under deadlines, excellent communication, and proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Outlook). Must be bilingual in French and English. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; 5-7 years payroll processing experience; PCP or PLP certification required with CPM designation highly preferred.
