Job Summary

Payroll Tax Specialist responsible for accurate payroll tax setup, processing, and compliance across federal, state, and local jurisdictions in the United States. Manages tax registrations, handles agency notices, supports quarter-end and year-end activities (W‐2/W‐3, 940/941), maintains employer tax accounts (FEIN, SUI, SIT), and conducts tax reconciliations. Collaborates with internal Payroll, HRIS, CDCM, and Compliance teams to resolve tax-related issues and ensures audit-ready documentation. Provides end-to-end client support via multiple channels, and operates in a 24/7 shift environment in an office setting. The role requires strong knowledge of US payroll tax regulations and proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday, SAP) and Excel.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline
  • 2–5 years of US payroll tax experience (federal, state, and local)
  • Experience with tax systems, payroll platforms, or ERP HR/Payroll modules (PeopleSoft, Workday, or SAP)
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment
