Payroll Tax Analyst II

Job Summary
Responsible for all U.S. and Canadian payroll tax activities, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; prepares and reconciles payroll tax filings, analyzes payroll tax data, maintains tax code tables and SUI rates, resolves variances, responds to employee/regulatory inquiries, and researches payroll tax withholding procedures. Qualifications emphasize multi-state payroll tax analysis/administration, familiarity with 941s and W-2s, and supporting certifications (FPC/CPP) or equivalent experience. The role requires an Associate's Degree (Finance or related field) with 2+ years of relevant experience; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Skills include data integrity, ad-hoc reporting, Excel basics, HRIS/payroll systems, and knowledge of Federal and State payroll and labor laws.
