Payroll Systems Analyst

Job Summary
Configure and maintain Time & Attendance and Global Payroll applications, serving as the subject matter expert for system workflows, pay rules, and security roles. Partner with HR, IT, and vendors to manage system updates, troubleshoot integrations, and ensure data accuracy through routine audits and reconciliations. Lead design, testing, and implementation of enhancements while supporting SOX compliance, audit controls, and change management protocols. Provide user training, develop reporting dashboards, and streamline processes to optimize workforce management operations. This role supports EnerSys's global stored energy solutions business, ensuring payroll systems operate efficiently across manufacturing plants and international service locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise Payroll and/or Workforce Management systems
- Proven experience with system configuration, releases, integrations, and vendor collaboration
- Strong understanding of payroll operations, data controls, and compliance requirements
- Experience working with managed service providers or outsourced payroll models
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with large scale or global payroll environments
- Vendor agnostic payroll system experience (e.g., enterprise HRIS, payroll, or WFM platforms)
- Project or change management experience supporting system implementations or enhancements
