Payroll Supervisor

Supervise the daily operation of the payroll department, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time. Schedule and assign work to payroll staff, monitor workloads, and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines. Maintain and ensure accuracy of payroll records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and files in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Provide guidance, counseling, or corrective actions to staff as needed to ensure optimal performance. Identify areas for skill development and provide or arrange for additional training as required. Ensure compliance with all government-required documentation and reporting deadlines. Collaborate with Human Resources (HR), Finance, and other departments to develop customized reports that support decision-making and strategic planning. Ensure that all payroll reports are up-to-date and reflect the most current data available.
