Job Summary
Senior Payroll Specialist responsible for delivering payroll services to LEGO employees, overseeing payroll inputs for 6,000+ staff in Mexico, ensuring compliance with policies and tax rules, handling incidents and root cause analysis, developing contingency plans for changes, and providing high-quality customer service. Plays a key role in payroll accuracy and timeliness, data quality, and payroll calculations, and collaborates with global colleagues to support LEGO’s payroll processes. Includes opportunities for growth within a dynamic, global team at a Monterrey manufacturing site; requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and relevant payroll/HR experience, with knowledge of Mexican payroll regulations and payroll systems such as Kronos, SAP, ServiceNow, and Workday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Relevant Payroll experience or Human Resources
- Project Management experience
- Experience or understanding of the Mexican Payroll, regulatory environment and tax rules preferred
- Previous experience working with Payroll Vendors (EPI USE)
- Knowledge of Kronos, SAP, ServiceNow, Workday
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
