Payroll Specialist - Whitehall Area

Process multi-state payroll for a large employee base, including hourly and salaried staff, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and internal policies. Reconcile payroll data, general ledger accounts, and prepare related journal entries. Administer timekeeping systems to ensure accurate recording of employee work hours, leaves, and overtime. Manage year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and related tax filings, and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax information. Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate employee data for payroll processing. This role requires 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees in a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar enterprise payroll software.
