Payroll Specialist

Job Summary
Payroll Specialist responsible for processing semi-monthly/bi-weekly payroll across Canada and the US for 650+ employees, administering multi-entity payroll, integrating with BambooHR and time-tracking systems, ensuring tax compliance (T4s, W2s, 1095-C, etc.), and supporting payroll-related inquiries while collaborating with HR, Finance, and IT. Requires strong knowledge of cross-border payroll regulations, experience with ADP/Ceridian/Paylocity, and the ability to maintain data security and confidentiality across Canada and the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
- 5+ years of payroll experience
- Strong knowledge of Canadian and US payroll legislation and regulations
- Experience with a payroll service provider (e.g., ADP, Ceridian, or Paylocity)
- Bilingualism is an asset
- Canadian or US professional payroll designations are an asset
- Security clearance from the Government of Canada (Reliability)
- Legal authorization to work in Canada and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance
