Job Summary
Payroll Specialist to process biweekly and monthly payroll using UKG; review timecards, time off, salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions for accuracy; answer employee/HR questions related to pay; provide payroll reporting to HR and Finance; maintain deductions and allocations; assist with year-end tasks; collaborate with Finance Manager on onboarding/offboarding and payroll compliance; ensure PHI/HIPAA confidentiality and security; participate in cross-departmental activities to support company growth; demonstrate UVVC core values and conduct; handling sensitive payroll information in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years related payroll experience
- Basic knowledge of payroll calculations, wage and tax regulations, pre-tax and post-tax earnings and deductions
- Organized, structured, detail-oriented with strong confidentiality and deadline discipline
- Intermediate level expertise in Excel and Word
- Preferred experience in Concur and UKG platforms
