Job Summary
Own end-to-end payroll processing for salaried and hourly staff using ADP Workforce Now and IHH; audit payroll registers against HR updates prior to each payroll run; calculate and process retroactive pay for merit increases or corrections; ensure accurate payroll treatment for employees on modified schedules, LOA, or immigration-tied work authorization; finalize payroll in compliance with California wage and hour law; maintain and audit salary data in ADP against the HR master workbook; support year-end merit inputs, promotions, reclassifications, and transfers; reconcile deductions, garnishments, and benefit contributions; ensure payroll compliance with California labor law including meal break premiums and overtime; prepare payroll reports for leadership and benefits reconciliation; assist with W-2 processing and year-end tax reconciliations; support onboarding/offboarding payroll actions and HRIS data integrity audits.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now
- Advanced Excel skills (multi-tab workbooks, formulas, data auditing)
- Working knowledge of California wage and hour law
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple pay cycles and deadlines
