Job Summary
End-to-end payroll processing for assigned countries in a fix-term contract at Smith+Nephew, including handling statutory deductions, working with third-party vendors, and ensuring accurate, timely payroll delivery in an international environment. You'll maintain employee data in Workday and local payroll systems, manage payroll interfaces and reports, and conduct audits for data integrity before payroll execution. You'll support payroll-related projects, including system upgrades and testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Global Business Services. Required are solid payroll expertise, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. 2 to 5 years of payroll experience, with Spanish or Portuguese payroll experience considered an advantage, and English fluency. The role is hybrid in Wroclaw, Poland, and is fixed-term until 31.10.2027.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of payroll experience in an organization processing 500 or more employees
- end-to-end payroll processes
- statutory deductions and compliance requirements
- experience with HR and payroll systems
- Workday experience preferred
- Fluency in English; ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Spanish or Portuguese payroll experience will be a strong advantage
