Seeking a Payroll Specialist with 5+ years of experience to manage payroll for 500 employees across multiple states, ensuring compliance and accuracy in payroll processes. Must have strong analytical skills and proficiency in payroll systems, with some flexibility for remote work after training.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a Payroll specific role
- Experience working with traveling employees whose payroll cost must be charged to multiple sites
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, under deadline pressure
- Ability to adapt effectively as business needs change
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with payroll applications and service providers (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
- Experience working for a multi-state and multi-site firm
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, Vlookups)
- Outstanding work ethic
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong analytical, time management and problem-solving skills
