Job Summary
Process and review payroll and time records for accuracy and compliance with wage and hour laws, maintaining employee records for tax withholding, direct deposit, and various deductions. Generate payroll reports for management and finance, manage retirement plan contributions, and coordinate system changes with customer service. Respond to client and employee inquiries regarding payroll, timekeeping, and deductions while supporting audits and ensuring data confidentiality. This remote part-time role offers 10-15 hours per week, with potential to increase to 20-25 hours based on client needs. Direct UKG Ready experience is required, with Paycom or ADP knowledge preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of payroll processing experience
- Solid understanding of payroll practices
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Associate's degree in accounting, Human Resources, or related field
- Payroll certification of FCP or CPP
