Job Summary
Run payroll processes, including verifying, posting, and processing payroll and accounting. Review timecards, resolve employee issues, and make corrections while preparing batch reports, preview reports, and FTE, benefits, and tax summaries. Post payroll to the general ledger, balance ledgers, reconcile bank accounts, and handle daily deposits and fund transfers. Assist in preparing financial reports, cost reports, and yearly budgets. Requires two years of payroll or accounting experience with Lawson, Kronos, and Excel proficiency. Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm, $25.25/hr + DOE. Must treat hospital, employee, and patient information as confidential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of payroll or accounting clerk experience including one year health care payroll or accounting experience
- Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience
- Computer skills including Lawson, Kronos, Excel, and Word
