Payroll Specialist

Job Summary
Process payroll data and produce custom reports using ADP Workforce Now, compiling employee time, wages, deductions, and preparing direct deposits. Review time sheets and wage computations to detect discrepancies, update Excel and the ADP system, and maintain organized payroll records. Serve as a point of contact for employee and management inquiries, process new hires and terminations, and handle garnishments and child support orders. Reconcile 401(k), FSA, and HSA payments, manage tax filing amendments, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations across multiple states. Collaborate with the Payroll Manager on general ledger imports and other assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Payroll processing experience
- 5+ years payroll processing with ADP
- Experience processing multi-state payroll
- Experience processing payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite, and proficiency in Excel
- Experience with bi-weekly payroll processes including data entry, pay calculations, tax, and benefits
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and take directions from supervisors
- Adept at handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and working to ensure confidentiality is respected throughout the organization
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think independently
- Accuracy and attention to detail, with strong organizational skills
- Must be able to work in-office at one of our office locations in Las Vegas, Rosemont or Charlotte
