Job Summary
Execute end-to-end payroll operations for the US payroll environment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance; validate inputs and outputs; manage payroll-related exceptions; support system updates and new program rollouts; serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders; identify process improvements; participate in testing system enhancements; provide guidance to other payroll specialists; monitor payroll performance metrics and KPIs. Emphasizes experience with US payroll regulations, payroll systems, data integrity, and remote/asynchronous collaboration in a global, remote-first team. Includes a focus on automation and AI-enabled workflows and a willingness to collaborate across Finance, Product, and Service Operations while handling sensitive payroll information.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in end-to-end payroll execution within the US payroll environment
- Knowledge of US federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Experience implementing payroll processes or contributing to operational rollouts
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation and issue resolution
- Proficiency in payroll systems and adaptability to new tools
- Comfortable working in a remote-first, asynchronous environment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with internal/external stakeholders
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple payroll cycles and deadlines
- Automation/AI capabilities familiarity or emphasis
