Job Summary
Manage monthly payroll cycles for the Netherlands and Belgium, validating employee data, calculating gross-to-nett payments, and resolving discrepancies. Coordinate with Dayforce and external partners while ensuring strict adherence to Dutch and Belgian tax laws, social security regulations, and collective labour agreements. Respond to employee queries regarding payslips, benefits, and statutory rights, and prepare reports for Finance and HR. Support the wider EMEA team with ad hoc projects and vendor implementation testing. Fluent in Dutch and English with 3-5 years of experience in multinational payroll environments.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist
- Strong knowledge of Dutch and Belgian payroll legislation, including employment laws and collective agreements in the respective countries
- Working knowledge of HRIS (Dayforce) and E-ticketing systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong willingness to work as part of a team
- Strong communication skills across multicultural environments
- Ownership mindset with the ability to resolve issues independently
- Ability to manage deadlines
- Experience working in a multinational or shared service environment
- Fluent in both Dutch and English
- Willing to support the wider EMEA Payroll team as a back-up during absences and support on ad hoc projects
