Job Summary
Payroll Specialist responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of payroll and the administration of the payroll system in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations and in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley standards. Key duties include timecard review and verification, reconciling pay and deductions, maintaining payroll databases and employee payroll files, ensuring payroll transactions align with company policy or labor agreements, assisting employees with payroll questions, preparing control documents for payroll reconciliation, and performing special projects as assigned. Requires 2 years of payroll experience and an associate degree in business administration or accounting, with preferred experience in certified payroll and relevant certification. On-site in Tualatin, Oregon.
