Payroll Specialist II

Job Summary
Prepare and process multiple weekly, biweekly, and monthly US and international payrolls, including manual checks and wage orders. Perform audits on employee and tax records to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, verifying reports and W-2 filings. Process changes to employee records, enter garnishments and miscellaneous deductions, and balance payroll by resolving discrepancies. Communicate with staff to answer payroll questions and provide time and attendance training. Run and distribute payroll reports by management deadlines while maintaining strict attention to detail and privacy. Requires minimum two years of payroll processing experience, proficiency in Excel, and ability to work quickly with interruptions. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of beginning to end payroll processing experience
- Proficient in Excel and MS Office Suite
- Analytical and strong proven problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to work and excel in a team environment
- Desire to work in an evolving environment; must be willing to embrace change quickly
- Commitment to professionalism in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and management
- Proven ability to maintain good work habits, including punctuality and regular attendance
- Proficient in English – reading, writing, speaking
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish, French, German, or Dutch is highly desirable but not required
- International payroll experience highly desirable but not required
- Multi-state tax experience highly desirable but not required
