Payroll Specialist

Job Summary
Collate, process, and reconcile union and non-union payroll for North America, ensuring accuracy within required deadlines. Liaise with supervisors to approve timesheets, correct missed punches, and review Kronos hours before integration to Workday. Process cash expense reimbursements, manage payment calendars, and handle special one-offs such as severance and termination payouts. Reconcile ADP tax reports, manage garnishments, and generate manual checks as necessary. Support audits by providing data for EY, Sentry, and benefits suppliers while maintaining compliance with Federal and State regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- 4 years of demonstrated hand-on finance/accounting experience
- Aptitude to handle large volumes of data & proven track record of accuracy
- The ability to handle sensitive data in a confidential manner
- Previous experience with WorkDay payroll processing or similar platform
- Previous experience with ADP Smart Compliance
- Proficiency with MS Excel
- Previous experience with Kronos for time and attendance or similar platform
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Payroll certification
- Previous payroll processing experience in multi-company (multiple EIN) environments
