Job Summary
Payroll Specialist to process weekly union payroll, prepare monthly union benefit reporting, weekly certified payroll reporting, monthly utilization reporting, and prevailing wage reporting. Responsibilities include providing high level customer service to internal and external customers, conducting the payroll portion of new field leader orientations, and handling employee setup with all other duties as assigned. Ideal candidate will have in-house, full-cycle payroll experience across multiple states, familiarity with union payroll, and proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and standard office software. The role is flexible and hybrid, based in Champlin, MN, with both in-office and remote work components.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience with high-volume in-house, full cycle, multi-state payroll is required
- Previous certified payroll experience
