Job Summary
Prepare and process multi-state payroll for over 1,500 U.S. hourly employees and support Canada operations for 300+ staff in collaboration with the Payroll team. Verify accuracy of employee information across Workday, ADP WFN Canada, and UKG Workforce Management systems while responding to inquiries from employees and third-party agencies. Distribute various reports to departments and managers, and participate in mergers, acquisitions, and system implementations. Identify, analyze, and improve business processes to optimize standards of quality. This hybrid role requires three days in-office and supports the global supply chain solutions mission of Dematic.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of payroll processing, preferably multi-state payroll experience
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of federal and state tax laws
- Previous experience using UKG Workforce Management Time and Attendance, ADP Workforce Now, Workday, or similar payroll systems
- Expertise in Excel including experience with vlookup, xlookup and pivot tables
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of US benefit plans and North American (US, Canada & Mexico) payroll processes is a plus
