Payroll Specialist

Job Summary
Process semi-monthly, monthly, and ad-hoc payroll accurately and on-time for employees across the APAC region, including India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, China, and Australia. Maintain data integrity by following internal controls, coordinating with People Operations in Barcelona to ensure accuracy between Workday and payroll suppliers, and handling payroll/tax notices. Support employee inquiries, conduct monthly GL reconciliation with EMEA teams, and perform quarterly Sarbanes Oxley review and reporting. Execute data-cleaning for quality assurance and verification, while collaborating on cross-training and People projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Business related field
- Minimum of 2+ years of payroll administration experience
- High ethical standards with an understanding of handling confidential information
- Versatile and flexible, with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks and take directive on given assignments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent system and analytical skills (able to quickly and effectively problem solve)
- Ability to work hours in different time zones to resolve critical issues if necessary
