Job Summary
Payroll Specialist role handling full-cycle bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly staff using Paylocity; ensures data accuracy, compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and timeliness. Responsibilities include auditing timekeeping data, processing new hires and terminations, managing employee data within ERP/HRIS/payroll systems, calculating and issuing adjustments, reconciling accruals, and serving as the primary payroll contact for employees and managers. Performs prevailing wage reporting (DIR, LCPTracker) and updates payroll records to comply with Davis-Bacon Act and California DIR requirements. Collaborates with HR and accounting, generates reports/workflows, troubleshoots issues with Paylocity, and maintains compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Requires in-office presence (32 hours/week) with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
