Job Summary
Payroll Risk & Compliance Expert for the UK&I region who owns payroll compliance, translating statutory rules into scalable product requirements and documented processes. Partners with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Support to embed compliant payroll logic, drives multi-country audits and incident resolution, designs scalable governance and controls, and mentors teams to elevate compliance capability. Works in a fully remote environment with a focus on jurisdiction-specific requirements, audits, and continuous improvement, leveraging automation and AI capabilities to ensure regulatory accuracy across local payroll calculations and workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in payroll, employment compliance for your country/region
- Proven record leading audits, regulatory reviews, or country-level compliance programs
- Experience partnering with technical teams to convert statutory rules into product requirements
- Strong communicator capable of influencing stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Legal, Support, and Senior Leadership
- Mentor and coach who grows the capability of the team around you
- Systems thinker who designs frameworks, documentation, processes, and controls that scale
- Comfortable operating in an async, fast-changing, fully remote environment
- Demonstrates strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency
