Job Summary
Payroll Operations Analyst – Off-Cycle Processing executes and oversees off-cycle payroll actions across RTX business units, ensuring accurate earnings, deductions, tax impacts, and special pay while meeting deadlines. Acts as SME for calculations, validates data inputs, and collaborates with LOA, HR, Time & Labor, and other stakeholders to ensure audit-ready processing. Develops and analyzes metrics to monitor SLA adherence, identifies processing trends, and suggests improvements. Serves as primary escalation point for payroll cases requiring multi-system research and policy interpretation. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 1+ year in payroll operations, with experience using ADP EV5, Workday, SNOW, and advanced Excel. Hybrid role based in Dallas or Greenville, TX with on-site and remote components, and a strong emphasis on compliance with USERRA, SOX controls, and CBAs.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ year of experience in payroll operations or adjacent field
- Experience with ADP EV5, Workday, SNOW
- Proficiency in customer service management and handling case escalations
- Experience processing termination and transfer transactions and final pay
- Familiarity with payroll-related compliance processes and regulations
- Advanced Excel analytical skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP)
- Ability to work with complex multi-system workflows while adhering to federal laws and regulations
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and audit skills
