Job Summary
Office-based Payroll Officer responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, interpreting awards and contracts, managing leaves, reimbursements, allowances and deductions, maintaining employee payroll records (onboarding/terminations), addressing payroll queries, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policies, and supporting payroll reporting, reconciliations, audits, and process improvements. Requires experience with payroll systems (e.g., Employment Hero or Sprintsuite) and strong Excel skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Employment Hero or Sprintsuite (highly regarded)
- Solid understanding of payroll processes
- Good Excel skills and comfort with digital platforms
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
