Job Summary
Lead and mentor a payroll team for entertainment projects (film, TV, live events, digital) ensuring timely, accurate payroll processing and compliance with union contracts, tax laws, and regulations. Oversee multiple jurisdictions, union reporting and audits, implement payroll systems, collaborate with IT/production/finance, and act as an entertainment payroll SME to optimize processes and tooling.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in entertainment
- Strong knowledge of entertainment payroll practices and union rules (SAG-AFTRA, DGA, WGA, IATSE)
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., Entertainment Partners, Cast & Crew, Greenslate)
- Management experience (4+ years)
