Job Summary
Payroll Manager responsible for overseeing payroll operations across non-US jurisdictions, ensuring compliant, accurate, and timely payroll processing while managing cross-border matters such as expatriate payrolls and tax. Acts as central point of coordination for internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Tax, Legal) and external payroll providers to align with global payroll strategy and regulatory requirements. Drives standardization, automation, and SOX controls; prepares tax forms (e.g., IRS 1042/1042-S) and supports cross-border opportunities. Requires managing payroll calendars, multi-country cycles, and cross-border travel/each country considerations; collaborates with Global Mobility and Tax teams and maintains governance documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
- At least 8 years of payroll or tax experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel
- Organized and able to successfully manage multiple tasks and deadlines; strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience with cross-border payroll matters (Canada/APAC/Europe) and coordination with Global Mobility and Tax teams
