Job Summary
The Payroll Manager oversees payroll operations, manages staff, ensures compliance with wage regulations, and partners with HR and Finance to improve processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll
- 2+ years in a supervisory capacity preferred
- Solid knowledge of payroll law and tax regulations
- Experience processing payroll under one or more CBAs
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and discretion with confidential data
- Proficient in performing analysis in spreadsheets
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with UKG or similar payroll/HRIS platforms and ERP integrations
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) credential
