Job Summary
Payroll Administrator responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll using ADP, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws; developing and maintaining payroll policies; analyzing payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement; overseeing wage garnishments and deductions; year-end payroll processing including W-2; collaborating with HR and Accounting to implement payroll strategies; maintaining confidential employee records; and staying current on payroll regulations. The role offers a dynamic clinical treatment-focused environment with benefits, an education stipend, and opportunities for advancement. Location: Morgan Hill, CA; Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Three or more years of payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
- High School Diploma - required
- Associate's Degree - preferred
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills - preferred
- Advances proficiency in Excel (including data analysis and reporting) - preferred
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and best practices
- Proven experience in developing payroll policies and procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in payroll operations
- Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices
- Knowledge of employment law and human resources responsibilities
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of computer applications and HR-specific software programs
