Job Summary
Manage daily payroll support for Rockwell employees in Poland, communicating with external vendors to deliver and control data while ensuring outputs meet company standards and compliance regulations. Address internal client inquiries regarding payroll matters, resolve complex issues, and maintain adherence to labor laws and internal audit procedures. Identify process improvements through automation and AI-driven tools, validate requirements, design reports, and train staff while serving as a backup subject matter expert. Work hybrid in Katowice, reporting to the Payroll Team Lead.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory requirements
- Very good level of Italian language, Polish and English at professional level (speaking and writing)
- Knowledge of the Excel
- Demonstrated openness to adopting new technologies, including automation tools
- Work hybrid in Katowice, Poland
- Work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory requirements (Italian legislation will be an asset)
- Previous payroll experience
- Shared services experience
- Understanding of global payroll platforms (e.g. Workday, ADP)
- Previous experience or knowledge related to implementing Payroll processes
- Experience in French or Italian, Dutch payroll processes
- Any of additional language (especially Spanish, Danish, Dutch or other European language)
- Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query
