Job Summary

Payroll DS Senior Analyst responsible for delivering timely, accurate payroll for designated countries/regions; act as SME to complex payroll processes, ensuring adherence to global standards, statutory requirements, internal controls, and service-level commitments. Drives continuous improvement, mentors analysts, supports audits and system enhancements, and partners with cross-functional teams to improve accuracy, efficiency, and payroll experience. Will work closely with the Payroll Senior Team Lead in planning and managing operational and project deliverables. Responsibilities include processing and validating complex payroll transactions, preparing and reconciling payroll reports, investigating and resolving payroll issues, managing inquiries, supporting escalations with agencies/vendors, monitoring payroll mailboxes, and maintaining documentation including SOPs and work instructions. Compliance tasks include SOX adherence, audit support, and data privacy. Leads continuous improvement opportunities for process optimization and automation, supports User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and collaborates with HR, Finance, IT, and external payroll providers. Leadership duties include mentoring junior analysts, assisting in resource planning, and onboarding. Preferred qualifications include experience with regional payroll, timekeeping systems, payroll certifications, experience with external providers, and familiarity with SOX and control frameworks. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, finance, accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR or finance/payroll operations
  • 1–2 years of leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing concepts and statutory payroll requirements
  • Proficiency with payroll and HR systems (SAP and/or Workday preferred; ADP and other payroll systems advantageous)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic macros) and common Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • High degree of confidentiality and adherence to data privacy and internal controls
  • Customer-focused with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Collaborative team player who builds effective working relationships
  • Adaptable to multiple cultures and cross-functional interactions
