Job Summary
Payroll DS Manager responsible for end-to-end payroll delivery for multiple countries, ensuring timely and accurate processing in compliance with policy and local statutory requirements. Leads a matrixed team, manages vendor performance and SLAs, drives process improvement, governance, and audits, and partners with global/process owners and cross-functional teams to deliver payroll services with strong stakeholder engagement in Ringaskiddy, Ireland. Role includes building relationships with senior country stakeholders, overseeing controls and reconciliations, supporting internal/external/regulatory audits, and guiding transformation projects while fostering an inclusive, high-performing payroll culture.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of prior experience in Payroll, HR and/or Finance operations
- A minimum of 3 years in a Management/People Leader role
- Strong experience managing multi-country payroll operations
- Proven experience overseeing payroll controls, compliance, audits, and statutory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent English language written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience in knowledge management systems and compliance requirements (e.g. SOX, business controls) preferred
- Certification in Payroll, Project Management, Analytics, Lean Six Sigma/Design Thinking preferred
