Job Summary

Process in-house bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely, maintaining all payroll records and timekeeping software. Prepare annually and quarterly payroll tax filings, including W2 reporting at year end and electronic submissions to federal and state agencies. Assist in various accounting matters as needed while utilizing advanced Excel skills and UKG timekeeping software to solve system problems. Requires minimum two years of in-house payroll experience, FLSA knowledge, and ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of in-house payroll experience
  • Knowledge of FLSA
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting functions
  • Mandatory Annual Education
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office programs
  • Advanced knowledge of excel
  • Knowledge of timekeeping software specifically UKG
  • Skill in attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to communicate clearly both written and oral
  • Ability to analyze, detect and solve payroll system problems using above average analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting
