Job Summary
Payroll Coordinator responsible for timely, accurate processing of payroll for union and non-union associates, managing weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles via ADP, maintaining records for hires/terminations/relocations, handling inquiries, WOTC submissions, union billing, audits, tax remittance, retirement plan files, and resolving discrepancies; requires strong knowledge of payroll laws (federal, state, local) and Excel proficiency, plus ability to work in a hybrid Cleveland-area role with potential remote support for Chicago facilities; candidate should have at least 2 years payroll experience and be locally located in the greater Cleveland area.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years payroll experience
- Hands-on experience with ADP
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations (federal, state, local) especially Ohio and Illinois
- Proficiency in Excel or similar
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Hybrid work schedule (onsite 3 days, remote 2 days)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
