Job Summary
Payroll Coordinator to process biweekly payroll for approximately 650 employees across eight San Diego facilities; coordinate with managers to ensure timesheets are accurate and approved on deadlines; calculate gross-to-net payroll and review for accuracy; update payroll records for deductions; prepare onsite final checks for terminated employees; conduct CA EDD UI benefit audits; collaborate with HR to ensure HRIS data accuracy; perform quarter-end and year-end activities including W2 reconciliations; generate payroll reporting and data from HRIS; maintain high attention to detail and provide strong customer service in a nonprofit senior services environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent education, training and experience
- 3+ years’ experience in high volume payroll processing
- Experience with sophisticated HRIS system (Ceridian Dayforce a plus)
- Experience with non-profit organizations, senior living facilities, and managed care a plus
