Payroll Coordinator

Job Summary
Payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees, including reviewing timecards, calculating overtime and bonuses, processing deductions and contributions, and ensuring accuracy within HRIS; maintaining payroll records and responding to inquiries; generating reports for leadership and audits; collaborating with HR, Finance, and department managers to implement changes; familiarity with Paycom and payroll software; emphasis on compliance with wage laws and confidentiality; requires detail-oriented, organized professional capable of handling sensitive information in a hybrid on-site/remote environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred; or equivalent related work experience
- Previous payroll, accounting, HR, or administrative experience highly preferred
- Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems highly preferred
- Paycom Experience highly preferred
- Knowledge of payroll regulations, wage laws, and payroll tax practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with a customer service attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office software
