Job Summary
Payroll Coordinator role in Immokalee, FL responsible for processing employment information, weekly payroll, payroll tax reports, data entry in QuickBooks, paycheck distribution, and maintaining employee records. Duties include managing workers' compensation processing, organizing seasonal hiring days, and ensuring compliance and training meetings. Bi-lingual English/Spanish strongly preferred; candidates should be deadline- and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and take ownership of the payroll process. Full benefits available; position starts hourly ($20-$25) with potential to transition to salary; based in the company's Immokalee, FL office and full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred
- Previous experience in Payroll Administration and time tracking
- Quickbooks (desktop) experience required
- Fundamental knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Deadline and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to work independently and “own” the payroll process
- Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects in a proactive manner
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- High school or equivalent (required). College degree in Human Resources or Business Administration (preferred)
