Job Summary

Payroll Coordinator at a global professional services firm responsible for processing the monthly Partner Draw distribution in collaboration with the Global Finance department, including Equity Accounting, Global Tax, Well-Being & Benefits, Global Retirement Benefits, Treasury, and Accounts Payable. Manages day-to-day Partner Draw processes such as preparing and reviewing Partner deduction proforma billing statements, entering currency exchange rates, running calculations in Equity Accounting and Draw systems, compiling currency estimate reports, collecting Partner banking data, reviewing year-end Partner statements, and supporting administrative tasks for month‐end closing. Acts as first point of contact for Partners on Partner Draw matters, handles bank information verification, communicates about tax/deductions, and provides explanations on Draw statements. Supports month-end close with journal entries and collaborates with Equity Accounting to reconcile deductions from Equity 3E to the Partner Draw system. Proposes improvements to Partner Draw and other financial reporting software and safeguards highly sensitive information. Qualifications include strong bookkeeping skills, accounting principles, Excel macros, and a Bachelor’s degree; minimum six years of relevant experience in professional services. Hybrid and in-office work arrangement available.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field, preferably
  • A minimum of six (6) years’ relevant experience at a global multi-office law firm, accounting firm, or other professional services organization
  • Experience working with partnership financials, billing, and cash management, preferably
  • Experience with Elite 3E or comparable accounts payable software application, preferably
  • Experience with Institutional finance and accounting systems, preferably
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of bookkeeping procedures such as posting, balancing, debits and credits, and journal entries
  • Exhibit thorough knowledge of accounting principles
  • Possess the ability to perform mathematical functions such as calculating ratios, and knowledge of excel macros and formulas

Desired Qualifications
