Job Summary
Manage the end-to-end payroll process with accuracy and timeliness in employee payments. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and prepare government-related reports. Provide expert payroll advice to clients, support audits, and train staff on payroll systems. Proficiency in payroll software (such as Oracle and ADP) and strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Ability to identify automation opportunities and troubleshoot payroll system issues.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll or a related position.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, labor laws, and garnishment compliance.
- Experience with payroll audits and compliance checks.
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in payroll management (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional (CPP or FPC)) is highly desirable.
