Job Summary
Process beginning to end semi-monthly payroll cycles for multi-state employees, prepare internal and external payroll reporting, and assist in commission review and calculations. Address payroll inquiries from employees and management while analyzing issues to provide appropriate action plans. Maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and labor laws and ensure documentation is retained per legal requirements. Requires 3+ years of California payroll experience, proficiency in Paylocity, and strong Excel skills.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of California payroll experience
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll dealership experience
- College Degree
- Experience in processing payroll in Paylocity
- Excellent communication/organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite to include Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, etc.
- Intermediate Excel skills to include use of pivot tables, xlookups, etc.
- Self-starter, great work ethic, and commitment to organizational success
- Exemplary business ethics, professionalism, and integrity
- Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
