Job Summary
End-to-end payroll processing across salaried and hourly populations (Canada, US, and future international operations) using Dayforce; maintain and audit payroll data, investigate and resolve system/configuration issues, reconcile payroll and benefits with the general ledger, ensure regulatory compliance, complete quarter-end and year-end tasks, respond to employee payroll inquiries, partner with Talent to review changes impacting payroll, and support audits. This hybrid role is located in Burnaby, BC, and requires strong attention to detail, independent problem-solving, and proficient communication within a collaborative team. Responsibilities emphasize payroll accuracy, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-changing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years payroll & benefits experience
- Experience using Dayforce HRIS
- Payroll certification (e.g., PCP)
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and tax requirements in Canada and the US
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, HR, or a related field (preferred)
