Job Summary
Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to join Esquire Law Services’ HR team. Responsible for bi-weekly multi-state payroll processing, payroll data audits for accuracy and compliance, employee status changes, deductions, benefit enrollments/terminations, open enrollment coordination, and leave administration (including 401(k), COBRA, FMLA, ADA). Also handles reconciliation of payroll/benefit invoices, HRIS data maintenance, and supports HR leadership on process improvements and special projects. Requires attention to detail, strong Excel/Office skills, confidentiality, and customer-service orientation; multi-state payroll experience and benefits administration are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll, benefits, HR, or related experience
- Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS platforms

- Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Multi-state payroll experience is a plus
- Paychex experience a plus
- Benefits administration experience is highly preferred
