Job Summary
Payroll & Benefits Coordinator responsible for accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits administration for Cam Tran employees in Canada, including weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff, ROE submissions, year-end T4s, payroll reports, and maintenance of payroll records. Acts as liaison between employees and benefits carriers, administers group RRSP/DPSP plans, ensures compliance with federal and provincial employment standards, maintains employee data in UKG, and supports additional payroll/HR activities. Preferred experience across Canada and the United States in cross-border payroll environments. Requires post-secondary education in a related field and at least two years of payroll/benefits experience; strong detail orientation, data privacy, and proficiency with UKG and Excel are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Payroll, Accounting, Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll and/or benefits administration
- Experience with multi-provincial payroll and statutory requirements
- Preferred: Experience supporting payroll and benefits in both Canada and the United States, or working in a North American (cross-border) HR or payroll environment
- Proficiency with UKG payroll systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Proficiency in Excel (including vlookups, pivot tables)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
