Payroll & Benefits Analyst

Job Summary
Own end-to-end monthly payroll processing for Malaysia and assigned regional markets, validating inputs such as joins, exits, allowances, incentives, claims, attendance, and deductions. Manage statutory submissions and compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, income tax) ensuring payroll processes meet local laws. Perform payroll checks, reconciliations, and validations prior to payout; coordinate and manage payroll vendors, regional payroll partners, and EOR providers; prepare payroll reports and documentation for audits and management. Identify gaps in payroll workflows and support SOP automation and HRIS integration. Requires hands-on payroll operations experience and strong collaboration with People Ops, HRBPs, Finance, and external vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in payroll operations, preferably multi-country or regional payroll
- Strong understanding of local payroll legislation and statutory requirements (Malaysia)
- Hands-on experience with payroll systems and HRIS tools
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong coordination skills with HR, Finance, and external vendors
- Proactive mindset with focus on process improvement
