Payroll & Benefits Analyst

Job Summary
Payroll & Benefits Analyst responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for Malaysia and assigned regional markets, validating inputs (joiners, exits, allowances, incentives, claims, attendance, deductions), ensuring statutory submissions and regulatory compliance, and maintaining audit-ready documentation. You'll coordinate with HR, Finance, and external vendors, perform payroll checks and reconciliations prior to payout, handle salary adjustments and ad-hoc payments, manage payroll vendors and EOR partners, prepare payroll reports, and drive process improvements in workflows, automation, and HRIS integration.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in payroll operations, preferably covering multi-country or regional payroll
- Strong understanding of Malaysian payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- Hands-on experience with payroll systems, HRIS tools, and spreadsheets
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong problem-solving ability
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong coordination skills to work effectively with HR, Finance, and external vendors
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous process improvement
