Job Summary
Payroll & Timekeeping Director responsible for leading end-to-end payroll and timekeeping across a multi-site global workforce (90,000+ employees). Oversees accurate, timely payroll cycles and compliance with tax, labor, and defense-related regulations; integrates payroll systems (e.g., SAP S/4, Workday) with HRIS, time-keeping, and reporting platforms; manages a payroll leadership team; drives automation to improve efficiency and reduce errors; prepares payroll metrics and executive dashboards; leads audit readiness and supports internal/external audits; role requires strategic partnership with HR, Finance, and IT, plus strong communication to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible payroll experience
- At least 10 years of supervisory or managerial experience
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent professional certification
- Demonstrated expertise with large-scale payroll systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, ADP)
- Strong knowledge of US payroll tax regulations
- Experience with international payroll concepts
- Proven track record of leading process improvements and automation projects
