Payroll and Benefits Specialist responsible for processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll, administering employee benefits programs (health and retirement), managing HRIS, handling payroll-related inquiries, maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations, coordinating workers’ compensation claims, and staying current on employment tax regulations and related compliance matters. The role serves as the primary point of contact for payroll, benefits, and leave inquiries, supports tax compliance with accounting, and contributes to an accurate, compliant HR operation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
- 2-4 years of ownership of payroll processing (Required)
- 1-3 years of Benefits Administration (Required)
- 2+ years of experience in HR Compliance (Required)
