Job Summary
Payroll & Benefits Administrator responsible for managing employee benefit programs and processing biweekly payrolls including timecards and accruals, verifying accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations as well as JHA policy. The role requires expertise in payroll and benefits administration, HRIS data entry, I-9 and E-Verify administration, open enrollment, benefit audits, and coordination with the Director of Human Resources. The incumbent will reconcile payroll data, prepare reports for budgeting, ensure compliance with wage-and-hour laws, maintain confidentiality, and provide employee communications and support for payroll and benefits-related inquiries. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of payroll experience for 100+ employees; ADP Workforce Now experience and CPP certification are strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with emphasis in Business, Human Resources, Accounting or a related field strongly preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years related knowledge and experience in payroll for 100+ employees required
- Minimum of three (3) years related knowledge, experience in benefits administration preferred
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll processing and administration is strongly preferred
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
